We would be honored if you would join us for a day in the French countryside an hour outside of Paris, in a small village called Ritoire. La ferme de José is a project of my grandaunt, José, and me, Jo, to transform José’s house into a space that cultivates culture and creates connection.

Ritoire 2.0 is an exhibition. On connection. Connection between people and cultures. Connection between past and present. Connection between heritage and new ways of thinking. Connection between generations, friends, and neighbours. Connection through art, music, culture, food, craftsmanship and lots of other beautiful forms of creation.

Throughout the day, the house and garden will become an open exhibition space, including installations, workshops and music performances. Some experiences will invite you to observe, others to participate. Whether you choose to create something with your hands, discover someone else's story through your eyes, taste a new flavour, or simply enjoy a slow Saturday afternoon in the garden, come to wonder and be curious. To create and to marvel at other people’s creations. To exist and to be present. To connect and to feel inspired.

While grounded in our our own stories and the connections that have shaped us, Ritoire 2.0 is a collaborative project. If you would like to contribute in any shape or form, please feel encouraged. Ritoire 2.0 is a space with lots of ideas already but lots of space to contribute as well.
